Civics Interactive Student Composition Rubric 
This rubric will be used to grade the notebook that will serve as an ongoing portfolio for Civics class. Student should have a table of contents, warm-ups, Cornell notes, and CNN student news entry.

Correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and course vocabulary is used. Paragraphs are 5-7 sentences with a topic sentence, supporting details and conclusion.
Organization/Neatness

Work is very organized with titles and headings. Pages are attached securely. Heading is on pages. Pages are numbered at the top left of each page and it matches the table of contents. Pages are numbered in the top left.
