Science Poster and Presentation rubric Science Poster and Presentation rubric The students will work together to create a poster to describe the solar system. Groups must include information on at least three of the following objects: the sun, the moon, the planets, comets and meteoroids, or stars (e.g., constellations). Content	Poor Poster includes relevant information on one of the chosen objects. Information is poorly organized and inaccurate.	Fair Poster includes relevant information on two of the chosen objects. Some information is inaccurate and poorly organized.	Good Poster includes relevant information on all three chosen objects. Information is accurate.	Excellent Poster includes useful and relevant information on all three chosen objects. Information is well-organized and accurate.
Work Quality/Effort	Poor Work is done with little effort, which resulted in a low quality product. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.	Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the group is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the group is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this poster and presentation.	Excellent The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that the group is proud of their work. It is clear that the group's best effort was put forth.
Style/Creativity	Poor Poster does not convey a clear understanding of the subject matter and their are many errors. Poster is not creative.	Fair Poster lacks clarity of information, creativity and neatness.	Good Poster is clear and contains few mistakes. Good creativity and neatness.	Excellent Poster has an element of creativity and style, and is not just a list of facts. Poster conveys a clear understanding of the topic.
Group Work	Poor The group did not work well together and the project reflects this.	Fair The group did not work well together, but did a nice job on their project.	Good The group worked well together and did a nice job on their project.	Excellent The group worked great together and did a stellar job on their project.
