Meets Expectations Demonstrates an understanding of tone. The example may include information that is essentially correct, but the information may be general or simplistic. Some of the support and/or examples and requirements of the task may be incomplete or omitted.	Needs Improvement Demonstrates a very limited understanding of tone. The example is incomplete, may exhibit many flaws, and may not address all requirements of the task.	Inadequate Example is inaccurate, confused, and/or irrelevant, or has failed to respond to the task.
Connotation	Exceeds Expectations Provides examples of connotation that create the tone and demonstrates understanding.
