This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student works and participates during activities (work, class, meeting, assembly, etc.). I have purposely weighted each criteria this way as I believe this rubric will be fairer to the lower level students that are trying to participate rather than those that are largely unresponsive in class - Fair = 3 and Poor = 1

When presented with an unwanted task, Tykera will complete the task independently with zero prompts from an adult without becoming visually frustrated.

To be used by students to self-evaluate their classroom behaviour and set goals for growth and progress of skills.

Joseph will increase their ability to function appropriately within the school environment as measured by the benchmarks listed below.

DEVELOP SELF-AWARENESS AND SELF-MANAGEMENT SKILLS TO ACHIEVE SCHOOL AND LIFE SUCCESS. 1A — Identify and manage one's emotions and behavior. The student will follow and remain focused throughout routines in classrooms, during transitions and other settings by controlling undesired emotional behavior when anxious, frustrated, angry or excited by expressing in different ways of how they feel in a positive manner with at least 5 out of 5 trails a week.
