Students will perform a professional Cold Read

Students will perform a skit to demonstrate mastery of vocabulary related to greetings, introductions and farewells. Students are working in groups of 3.

Create a collage that represents who you are as a person on the cover of your journal, a digital and printed or traditional. This collage should consist of a wide variety of images that tell who you are and what is important to you. You should use the name plate created in class to include all or most of the items you wrote about. It must include at least 15 different visuals. Plus your complete name and class. Grades will be given according to the attached rubric.

Spanish Show and Tell

Work with your group to create your own jingle or rap song that follows the criteria below.

Students will build a monster or creature, give it a name and birthplace. You will need to label all the parts you create and color it.Also you will write 10 sentences mentioning the use of a part of the body or you can use the part of the body in a sentence.Don't forget to describe its personality and characteristics in Spanish. Due in class time.

Students will create a comic strip using vocabulary and concepts that they have learned in Spanish Class

You will be writing a children's book in Spanish using the vocabulary you have learned so far. The book must have a minimum of 10 pages and have 1 sentence per every 2 pages page. Each page must be illustrated. The book must have a cover with a title and author.

Create an altar honoring a loved one or a famous individual who has passed away for Día de los muertos.

Create a miniature altar honoring a loved one or a famous individual who has passed away for Día de los muertos.

The students will design a day of the dead skull and will paint/color their design on top of a paper mache skull.

Students will research about the origins, history and celebration of El Dia de los muertos and will create a poster, recipe, reflection or write a paper with their findings. Understand the origins of the celebration of Día de los Muertos. Recognize some of the most important traditions of this celebration.d Describe the Día de los Muertos celebration to others.
