Day of the Dead Skull Project
	Poor 10 pts	Fair 20 pts	Good 30 pts
Design	Poor The student didn't follow the directions and the purpose and style of the artwork wasn't accomplished.	Fair The project is a skull face but does not follow the examples of the Mexican Day of the Dead style.	Good The project incorporates the Mexican Day of the Dead Calavera/skull style discussed in class, in a pleasing and unique way.
Composition	Poor The student ignored the rules of composition and had poor use of space, color and/or design.	Fair The project follows some of the rules of pleasing composition or design.	Good The project reflects rules of composition as far as use of space, color and overall appeal.
Use of time and completion	Poor The student didn't make good use of class time and didn't hand in the project on time.	Fair The student worked well in class but didn't hand the project in on time. OR student did not use time wisely in class instead was talking and wasted time.	Good The student used class time efficiently and completed the project by the due date.
