Student will produce a 2-4 minute PSA video, commercial or music video.

Produce a photoshopped yearbook cover. You must use your class time effectively. You must show evidence that learning the photoshop software has taken place.

Student(s) will produce a demonstration music video. The music video will include an audio mp3 file (added separately from the video) and each 3-5 second clip will match up with the appropriate part of the song. Student will follow the directions outlines on the project description page.

Digital Photo assignment to shoot a minimum of 10 photos and use them to create a surreal room photomontage in Photoshop with 7-10 different layers. Share layered .psd file with Griffin.

Collage: The technique of composing art on a single surface, various materials not normally associated with one another. Specifications 1. Layout & design an 8x10 inch Photo Collage using 5 or more photos. 2. Complete in Photoshop. 3. Retouch, enhance, & manipulate the photographs 4. Save & share the layered (not flattened) Photoshop file to Mr. Griffin. 5. SAVE the document to a desktop folder using your name & the name of this assignment.

Photoshop skills assessment. Students will photoshop a photo they have taken following the guidelines for yearbook photography and write a detailed explanation of their actions.

This rubric is meant to help guide Video Production students to create a 100 photo story using FCPX. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Reviewing this rubric often during the creation and digital storytelling presentation will ensure that all intended elements of the project have been addressed with all criteria met.

General Digital Photography (Yearbook)

Students will write, shoot, light, use sound to edit a television commercial for using the footage they take. They must create a 30 second commercial that showcases what the Iphone 7 Plus r has to offer. They will create appropriate music and graphics.

This assignment will be done with your TEAM. You are to write a script with one scene. The scene is to have one shot that has five pieces of action within the shot. Then you will create a shot sheet describing each of the actions. There should be at least five pieces of action on the shot sheet. Next, your group is to record the shot based on the script.

Group is to shoot a series of shots. The group is given a list of shots. It is the task of the group to gather as many of the shots as possible in the time allowed. Each student must take at least five shots from the list. The same type of shots can be gathered to allow for everyone to shoot five shots.

Students will edit a television commercial for using generic footage. Students will use have access to clips to edit. They must create a 30 second commercial that showcases what the Women's Center has to offer. They will create appropriate music and graphics.

The student will take 25 pictures implementing the rules of photography and message of photography discussed in class. Five unique photos will be taken for each rule of photography, and five combining all the rules.

Regular attendance and active class participation are expected from all students in this class. This rubric will be used to assess your performance in this area.
