Still Image Sequence Storytelling 
This rubric is meant to help guide Video Production students to create a 100 photo story using FCPX. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Reviewing this rubric often during the creation and digital storytelling presentation will ensure that all intended elements of the project have been addressed with all criteria met.

65 - 78 photos. Were part of the overall story; but had little to do with the chapter they were in.

Less than 65 images that were inserted at the last moment and had very little relevance or significance.
Soudtrack

Must set the tone of the story.

Excellent

Virtuoso. Well-chosen for tempo, tone, timing and theatrics.
Good

Sound magician. The music worked well enough to draw me in and keep me interested.
Average

Weekend DJ. I like the music; but it doesn't necessarily fit the story or the images. Volume or intensity of the music didn't fit or move me.
Limited

Late night FM DJ. Music was not well thought out. Doesn't move me or even make me breathe hard.
Unacceptable

Can you keep a beat?
