AFTER READING ARTIFACT

This artifact was completed in May 30, 2008 during Ms. Cichy’s class. I completed this project after we read Journey of the Sparrow. Ms Cichy gave us this project on May 19; first we did 8 sentences summary for the first 8 chapters of the book, one sentence for each chapter, then we did the summary for the other half of the book. During the HSA week she gave us time to realize the board where we need to put a picture for each chapter and the sentence that summarize the chapter. I couldn’t finish it during class so I did it at home. It was an after reading skill because we have to summarize the entire book in this storyboard.
This artifact is important because I need to work in how I do my summaries. I was able to made good sentences because we work on them during Ms. Cichy’s class but, when I did the rest at home I realize that I need to work on that if I want to improve my English. For example I had problems with the transaction words and the prepositions. Ms. Cichy gives me the advice to work on them during the summer and I will do it.
I put 80% of my effort in this project. I think I would do better if I had other opportunity to do it. I work really hard doing the pictures but it would be easier if I would have the sentences on time. I think that after you finish this type of work you have time to make reflections about your self and what you would do different or what you will change in your self to do a better job the next time.
