Supporting Reasons	Minimal No reasons are given to support position.	Basic One reason given to support position.	Proficient Two reasons given to support position.	Advanced Three reasons given to support position.
Conclusion	Minimal Has no conclusion.	Basic A conclusion sentence is present, but does not re-state position.	Proficient A conclusion sentence is present and position is re-stated.	Advanced A conclusion sentence is present, position is clearly re-stated, and feelings are emphasized in an interesting manner.
