	Poor 4.75 pts	Fair 6.5 pts	Good 8.25 pts	Excellent 10 pts
Participation	Poor Did not participate in class discussions. Did not support peers. Did not complete all assignments. Did not post a poem onto website.	Fair Demonstrated two of the participation expectations listed in the "Excellent" column.	Good Demonstrated three of the participation expectations listed in the "Excellent" column. Posted at least one poem onto website.	Excellent Participated in class discussions. Supported peers through creating, revising, and editing. Completed all assignments. Posted at least two poems onto website.
Writing Conventions	Poor 7 or more errors in spelling and punctuation in poetry keynote.	Fair 6 or fewer errors in spelling and punctuation in poetry keynote.	Good 3 or fewer errors in spelling and punctuation in poetry keynote.	Excellent No errors in spelling and punctuation in poetry keynote and in online postings.
Poetry Keynote	Poor Poetry keynote contains no completed poems. Poetry keynote contains no illustrations or decorations (other than what is included in keynote).	Fair Poetry keynote contains some of the required elements defined in the "Excellent" column.	Good Poetry keynote contains most of the required elements defined in the "Excellent" column.	Excellent Poetry keynote contains all required poems. Poetry journal contains illustrations and decorations.
