7th Timeline Poster 
Students are to create a timeline using poster board or something similar concerning important events from the time we are studying. There should be no less than 10 events on the timeline. Students are to include either a picture/photo for each event that they believe represents the event on their timeline. Each event is to have a brief explanation of its importance along with the picture. In the end, the student must submit a reflection.

Overall quality of timelines  about the same as other timelines. Some extra effort noticed. Timeline has no more than two  misspellings and/or grammatical errors.
Developing

Most of timeline reflects a lack of effort. Not engaging or interesting. Below average timeline. Timeline has 4+ misspellings and/or grammatical errors.
Beginning

A clear lack of effort throughout. Far below the average timeline. Timeline is difficult to read and understand due to the amount of grammatical/spelling errors.
Reflection

A reflection that explains why you designed your timeline in the way that you did and justifies/defends the “justifiable manipulation” of your product. In other words:
What facts did you emphasize?
What facts did you omit?
Why does your selection of what you included and what you omitted fall under “justifiable manipulation”?

Reflection fully explains why you designed your product in the way that you did and justifies/defends the “justifiable manipulation” of your product.
