Understanding	Level 1 -Students is not able to discuss the quote and/or provides very minimal details. -Students do not outline why they chose the quote.	Level 2 -Student is somewhat able to discuss the quote and/or provides only a few details. -Student do not outline why they chose the quote.	Level 3 -Student is able to discuss the quote with some details. -Student outlines their why they chose the quote.	Level 4 -Student is thoroughly able to discuss the quote in great details. -Student describes in detail about their feelings about the quote.
Presentation	Level 1 No thought and creativity has been put into the assembly of the work or the presentation.	Level 2 Work is assembled quickly. Minimal amount of thought and creativity has been put into the presentation.	Level 3 Work is assembled with care. Some thought and creativity has been put into the presentation.	Level 4 Work is assembled with care. A significant amount of thought and creativity has been put into the presentation.
Communication	Level 1 Student is not able to answer questions about the topic.	Level 2 Student is able to answer some questions about the topic.	Level 3 Student is able to answer questions about the topic with little elaboration.	Level 4 Student is able to answer all questions about the topic with explanations and elaboration.
Preparedness	Level 1 Student does not seem at all prepared to present.	Level 2 The student is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Level 3 Student is prepared and has rehearsed.	Level 4 Student is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed. The presentation is done without hesitation.
