Social Studies Project Social Studies Project Make a poster depicting a pioneer archaeologist. Poster must include a portrait of the archaeologist, a biography of his/her life, and a short summary of the person's accomplishments in bullet statements. Creativity	Poor D Project had no original thought. Group lacked team work and had difficulty staying on task.	Fair C Project showed little creativity. Group lacked team work and had difficulty staying on task.	Good B Project was fairly creative.Group worked okay together but had to be told to staying on task.	Great A Project was extremely creative and it was clear that student put a large amount of thought into it. Group worked well together without any complaints/reminders.
Visuals	Poor D Lack of effort is evident, not visually appealing. Product is not relevant to project.	Fair C Student put some effort visuals, they are slightly appealing. The product is slightly relevant to the project.	Good B Effort is evident in a visually appealing product that does not detract from the project.	Great A The student went above and beyond to create a very visually appealing product that enhances the project.
Conveys Main Point	Poor D Poster and ideas do little to convey estates plight or privilege. Lacks cohesive message. More effort could have been put into ideas.	Fair C Message was unclear and could have been stronger. Summary included some of what was in the drawing. Message could have been better conveyed.	Good B Message included most of what was required depicted in the project. Main point is clear but lacks the polish of a 10.	Great A The group created a detailed summary and included what was mentioned in Required project. Group used creative and organized themes to show main points.
