Book Project Audio Recording : Due Friday May 13 
Students will produce an audio recording of their Ocean Quest stories using Garage Band. Recording will include an introduction, and will focus on clear, fluent, animated delivery with music and/or sound effects. Students will also include a reflection on the back of this self-graded rubric.

A simple reading of the story with no extra sound effects.
Reflection

Excellent

Student clearly elaborates on specific aspects of personal fluency learned from the project. Student also relates challenges and solutions regarding the use of Garage Band to create and edit audio effects.

Student provides an abundance of vague information on what s/he learned from the project, such as "It was fun!" or "I learned a lot!" in the deluded hope that positive enthusiasm will outweigh a lack of content.
Poor

Student provides only limited and perfunctory information on what s/he learned from the project. No reflection = 0 points.
