Neatness and Organization 10 pts	Poor Project is not organized according to topics and is very hard to read. Missing many sections and/or headings.	Fair Project is somewhat organized and easy to read. There are a few missing headings and/or sections.	Good Project is organized and easy to read. There are no missing sections and sections have proper headings.
Content - Primary Character 5 pts	Poor Student has less than 3 descriptions, character traits, and/or changes that the main character went through.	Fair Student is missing a few descriptions, character traits, or changes that the main character went through.	Good Student has 5 or more descriptions, character traits and changes that the main character went through in the novel.
Content - Secondary Characters 5 pts	Poor Student is unable to identify four characters and has limited or little information about each character.	Fair Student is able to identify 2 or fewer characters and gives a brief description.	Good Student correctly identifies four main characters and gives a full description of their roles in the novel.
Content- Predictions 5 pts	Poor Student has less than three predictions based on the novel and give no page numbers or chapters where they occured.	Fair Student has three predictions based on the novel.	Good Student has five predictions based on information in the novel, given with page numbers or chapters that the predicitons happened.
Content- Settings 5 pts	Poor Student has less than three descriptions of key settings with little or no detail.	Fair Student has three descriptions of key settings with some details from the novel.	Good Student has five descriptions of key settings in the novel with enough details to paint a picture with words.
