Persuasive Poster Persuasive Poster Create a persuasive poster about an appropriate subject of your choice (within the realm of the teen issues unit as discussed in class and in handout material) The persuasive poster must include facts that would make me want to buy your product. You should incorporate persuasive strategies and strong words in your writing. Must also include powerful imagery to engage reader. Persuasive Techniques and Voice	Excellent - Claim or position is clearly stated - Includes various persuasive elements - Persuasive techniques are very effective and relate strongly to the ad's message	Good - Claim or position is stated, but not clear - Includes one or two persuasive elements listed - Persuasive techniques relate to the ad's message	Fair - Claim or position cannot be determined - Does not include persuasive elements discussed in class - Persuasive techniques do not relate to the ad's message	Poor - Incomplete or most criteria is missing
Neatness	Excellent - The pictures and writing are clear and easy to understand. - The pictures and writing are evenly spaced across the poster making it appeal to the readers.	Good - Includes a heading OR a conclusion section/concluding remark - not arranged in a visually appealing manner on the poster	Fair - Contains neither a heading or a conclusion section/concluding remark	Poor - Incomplete or most criteria is missing
Spelling and Punctuation	Excellent - All words are spelled correctly - Correct punctuation is show on the poster.	Good - Most words are spelled correctly - There are 1-2 errors in punctuation on the poster.	Fair - Many words are spelled incorrectly - There are 3-4 errors in punctuation on the poster.	Poor -Majority of words are spelled incorrectly. - There are more than 5 errors in punctuation on the poster.
Visual Impact	Excellent The poster had a visual appeal that engaged immediately and sustained interest and further inspection.	Good The poster had some visual appeal and warranted a second glance.	Fair Poster had slight to low visual appeal.	Poor Poster has visual elements but no appeal.
