Information Judges amount and quality of information given on the assignment.	It's a start Missing four or more names. Missing traits and origin of traits.	You're getting there! Missing two names. Has one trait and/or origin of trait.	You did it! Missing one name. Has two traits and origin of at least one trait.	Excellent Has all names. Has two traits and origin of both traits.
Language Skills/Mechanics Judges the writing skills of the student.	It's a start More than 4 capitalization and/or punctuation errors. Contains incomplete sentences or only phrases.	You're getting there! 3 capitalization and/or punctuation errors. Contains simple sentences.	You did it! 1 or 2 capitalization and/or punctuation errors. Contains complete sentences.	Excellent No capitalization and/or punctuation errors. Contains well developed complete sentences.
Neatness of Written Work Judges the readibility of the sentences or words on the page. (Typing words on computer and pasting onto poster or other presentation format is acceptable).	It's a start Sloppy handwriting. Hard to read or massive gaps between words, shows alot of erasing and is not a clean looking copy.	You're getting there!
