	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts
Accuracy	Poor Map is not accurate.	Fair Map is somewhat accurate.	Good Map is very accurate.
Map Labels	Poor Map labels are poorly done. Missing some information and is hard to read.	Fair Map labels are fair. Includes most required components but could be more readable.	Good Map is correctly and neatly labeled with map title, map key and compass rose.
Effort	Poor Map illustrates some effort. Student made poor use of time in classroom.	Fair Map illustrates fair effort. Student made fair use of time in classroom	Good Map illustrates great effort. Student made good use of time in classroom
Collaboration	Poor Does not demonstrate responsible behavior toward others and/or equipment. Draws attention to themselves due to behaviors and use of equipment.	Fair Demonstrates responsible behavior and use of equipment.	Good Demonstrates leadership for others. Respectful behavior and use of equipment. Keeps on task.
Writing directions	Poor	Fair	Good Directions give specific detailed instructions that align to the map. The map would be easy to follow.
