Famous People My Famous Hero Students will choose a famous person to research. Then, students are to make a poster and a power point presentation to explain what made this person famous and why this person is interesting to them. Introduction	Excellent States the topic in a creative and clever way to grabs the attention of the reader.	Good Limited use of grabbing the attention of the reader.	Needs Reinforcement States the topics to be presented.	Not Meeting the Standards Does not include the topic of the presentation.
Focuses on Topic Students answer the basic questions	Excellent Clearly states information in an organized manner. Includes a biography of the person. Lists many examples of what this person is/was known for and why you chose this person to recognize.	Good State information in an organized manner. Includes 2 key elements and lists examples of why the person is important.	Needs Reinforcement Stays on topic and includes 1 key elements. The list of examples is limited.	Not Meeting the Standards Includes very little information on their person.
Conclusion	Excellent Creatively and clearly restates the topic of the paper.	Good Restates the topic and conclusion restates the 3 key elements. Includes a statement about the topic.
