SMART Goal Project Marking Period 1 Smart Goal setting game. The students will be able to write 1 S.M.A.R.T goal for the first marking period by Thursday, September 19th. Directions: Choose a personal S.M.A.R.T goal. Clearly define the goal, or objective by explaining how each part of the statement is S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely. Type an analysis that includes Part 1 and then outline the strategy for achieving the goal. Identifies potential pitfalls and challenges that may come up.Share the goal with the class. SMART goal Defined a clear goal that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely.	Distinguished The S.M.A.R.T Goal is clearly defined.	Proficient The S.M.A.R.T goals is unclear.	Unsatisfactory The S.M.A.R.T goals is not complete.
Challenges Identify potential pitfalls/ challenges that may come up.	Distinguished The student comes up with multiple challenges.	Proficient The students comes up with only one challenge.	Unsatisfactory The student has failed to come up with any challenge.
How to get there. Describes steps to reach personal goal.	Distinguished The student designs a clear strategy for attaining his or her goals by discussing a personal growth plan.
