CONTENT	Needs work Writer's content needs major revision. Missing large chunks of info.	Getting there.... Writer's content has some necessary elements based on outline given.	Got it! Writer has most/ all necessary elements. Solid content, well- researched, interesting, paraphrased when necessary.
FORMAT	Needs work Not proof-read; format not done as outlined on handout.	Getting there.... Editing needs some work; some mechanics problems; format not exactly as outlined on handout.	Got it! Mostly or completely edited successfully; formatted correctly with cover page (photo or drawing/ title underlined and capitalized, heading correct)/ table of contents/ citations page.
PRESENTATION	Needs work Writer did not give presentation.	Getting there.... Writer gave presentation but needs a lot more eye contact/ less reading from page. Read whole thing from beginning to end.	Got it! Writer gave presentation with effort to make eye contact, project voice and other presentation qualities. Gave most interesting pieces of biography rather than reading whole thing from pages.
