Cuniform Artifact Students will create a cuniform using clay and will create a message either with an emoji or a phoneme or pictograph that is legible so that his/her partner can read it. Readability	Poor Student was not able to read the cuniform independently and needed help to understand artist's message.	Fair Partner was able to read part of the cuniform, but needed assistance from artist.	Good Partner was able to read cuniform with some assistance from artist.	Excellent Partner could easily read the cuniform at 100% accuracy and no help.
Creativity	Poor There was no creativity or the message got lost with too much information.	Fair There was some creativity in the cuniform.	Good Cuniform was very organized, showed creative thinking or art work.	Excellent Cuniform was very eye catching, detailed and creative without losing the message.
Use of materials	Poor Student did not use materials appropriately and or failed to clean up.	Fair Student used materials appropriately after a teacher redirect.	Good Students used material appropriately with no redirect from teacher.	Excellent Student used materials appropriately, respectfully, independently and cleaned up after without any reminders from the teacher.
