Vocabulary/Timeline Presentation
In groups, you will create a presentation to teach others about the vocabulary of this Ancient Civilization. Further, you will create an accuarate time line to show the order in events. Remember this is before BCE so numbers will go from larger to smaller like negative numbers on a number line.

Shark Research Report
Students are selecting a shark, researching and writing about their animal. The report should tell about where their animal lives, what their animal eats, what their animal looks like, it's habitat, breeding habits, and any interesting fun facts about their animal. Report should include non-fiction features such as fast facts, charts, pictures, etc.

Students are to write an essay, power point, graphic novel answering the following prompt: The Dust Bowl of the 1930s was a severe drought suffered across the Great Basin region of the United States. During this time vast areas of land became unusable for farming producing millions of tons of dust and dry dust. Could the devastation suffered during the Dust Bowl have been prevented?
