Student will research an important figure in history and give a 2-4 minute oral report about the life and significant impact their chosen figure had on history.

	Excellent 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Organization	Excellent Student presents information in logical, interesting sequence which audience can follow.	Poor Audience cannot understand presentation because there is no sequence of information.
Subject Knowledge	Excellent Student demonstrates full knowledge of the report.	Poor Student does not have grasp of information.
Eye Contact	Excellent Student maintains eye contact with audience, occasionally returning to notes.	Poor Student reads much or all of the notes/report with little or no eye contact.
Elocution	Excellent Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.	Poor Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces names/terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.
Preparation	Excellent The student is prepared and has done the research.	Poor The student is not prepared.
Time	Excellent The student's presentation falls within the two to three minute window.	Poor The student's presentation fails to last two minutes or exceeds the four minute mark.
