Kansas Wax Museum 
Each student will research a person from Kansas and then act as that character. You must dress as the character and complete research about this person. You will have a note card to help assist you with what you need to say, but you should memorize as much as possible since "you are the character".

Excellent (4)

Student interacts with others with realism and enthusiasm. Gets "into" character. Student is able to answer 7 or more questions about their character including their greatest accomplishments.
Preparation/Timeline Card (7pts)

Poor (1)

No costume or prop. No note card.
Fair (2)

Student is not prepared. Only a partial costume (a hat, or just a jacket, no prop). No note card
Good (3)

Student has a complete costume and prop but not appropriate for the character. Note card does not assist with what you are wanting to say, "whole speech is written down".
Excellent (4)

Student is well preapred with a complete costume and prop that are appropriate for time period. Note card is organized and easy to help assist in their speech. "Not complete sentences".
