Historical Accuracy	Poor Conversation does not reflect the hsitorical time period or significance.	Fair Some attempts at historical acccuracy are present. There is a limited connection to the time period and significance.	Good Student grasps the hisotrical significance of the conversation and creates some connection to time period. Needs some development to reflect accuracy.	Excellent Student demonstrates a full knowledge of the significance, accuracy, and time period through the conversation.
Character Development	Poor No attempts at character development are present. Conversation does not reflect the nature of the people involved.	Fair Some attempts at including character development are present, but not reflective of who the historical figures really were.	Good Conversation reflects on who the historical figures were and shows consideration for character development within.	Excellent Excellent demonstration of character development within conversation. Careful consideration for who the historical figures were is evident.
Content	Poor The conversation has no topic, or focus.	Fair The conversation has a minor topic and little focus.	Good The conversation has a distinguishable topic and focus.	Excellent The topic is easy to identify and follow. Focus is precise and effecient.
Creativity	Poor No creative force was put into the work. Conversation is not well organized.	Fair Some creative force was put into the work. Conversation is somewhat organization, but is still unclear.	Good Student shows creativity in their presentation and work. Conversation ideas are clearly expressed.	Excellent Conversation shows a great deal of creativity and expresson. Ideas are well presented and timely.
Mechanics	Poor Student does not demonstrate control of conversational mechanics. Quotation marks have not been used properly. Spelling and grammar shows numerous errors.	Fair Student demonstrates some control over conversational mechanics. Spelling and grammar is mostly correct. Careful editing is still needed, with help.	Good Control over mechanics of conversation, spelling and grammar is present. Proofreading is still needed to fix minor errors.	Excellent Conversation mechanics, spelling and grammar are all well done. No errors present.
