Descriptive Writing Rubric 
Students will describe a picture of their choice by using their five senses to create a descriptive piece of writing. Writing will be graded on capitalisation, punctuation, use of main idea and supporting details, spelling of high frequency words, plural noun use, verbs and descriptive words.
