Advanced The storyteller gave clear, interesting, and highly descriptive details using sophisticated and above-grade-level vocabulary to support the story.
Organization	Developing The order of the story was unclear and confusing—no clear beginning, middle, or end. The storyteller used few transition words.	Proficient The order of the story was somewhat clear. For the most part, it was not confusing to follow. Transition words were correctly used, at grade level, and helped in understanding.	Advanced The order of the presentation was clear, logical, and easy to follow. Clear beginning, middle, and end. Grade-level or above-grade-level transition words were used.
Fluency	Developing Storyteller used sentence structures, pronunciation and/or language that often detracted from the presentation.
