Group Skit/Dance/Song Presentation Rubric-Introductions

This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group activity. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions. Create a skit in a Group of 4(1 Teacher and 3 students). You should a)greet each other b)ask names c)perform introductions d) say goodbye. Skit should last 4-5 minutes.

Content	Excellent Group members had a stronghold on the content and content was thoroughly addressed. No mistakes were made with regard to content knowledge.<BR> All 4 used	Good Most of the group members has a solid understanding of the content. Content missing minor elements or contained minor errors.<BR> 3 or more used	Needs Work Group members had only a superficial understanding of content. Several mistakes were made during the presentation.<BR> 2 or more used.	Poor Group members had little to no understanding of the content addressed in the presentation.<BR> 0-1 used
Organization	Excellent Presentation was very organized and was very easy to follow. Transitions between group members were well planned and executed cleanly.	Good Presentation was fairly organized and pretty followable. Transitions might have been slightly discontinuous but did not take away geatly from the overall presentation.	Needs Work Presentation was not clearly organized. Transitions between members were jumpy or awkward.	Poor Presentation lacked organization. Poor transitions between group members individual parts. Presentation lacked order and very difficult to follow.
Visual Aid(s)/Props	Excellent Visual aids/Props used were used effectively throughout presentation. Group members used visual aids as a supplement, not as a crutch.	Good Visual aids/Props used were somewhat effective, but weren't used consistently thoughout presentation.	Needs Work Visual aids/Props used did not support verbal presentation. They lacked information, or groups members read from them.	Poor Visual aids/Props were not used at all.
Teamwork/Participation	Excellent The group worked very well with each other and the presentation was shared equally among the group members.	Good The group worked well with each other and communicated well. Some members participated slightly more than others.	Needs Work Group communicated relatively well with a few lapses in the presentation; some students dominated the presentation and others did not participate much.	Poor Group did not work well together. There were obvious miscommunications and lapses in the presentation.
Maturity/Professionalism	Excellent All group members were professional and mature during presentation. They took their assignment seriously.	Good Most group members were professional and mature during presentation.	Needs Work A few of the group members were professinal and mature during presentation.	Poor Group members were immature and unprofessional during presentation.
Time	Excellent Group used 4-5 minutes for their skit.	Good Group used 3 minutes for their skit.	Needs Work Group used 2 minutes for their skit.	Poor Group used 1 minute or less for thier skit.
