Topic Addressed/Vocabulary/	Poor Student does not include sufficient vocabulary to show understanding of the topic.	So so Student includes few of the vocabulary words related to the topic and / or vocabulary is not used in the appropriate context.	Good Student includes many vocabulary words related to the topic in the appropriate context.	Excellent Student includes a large variety of vocabulary related to the topic in the appropriate context.
Grammar	Poor Student is making an effort to speak the language, but it is not comprehensible.	So so Student is able to be understood, but errors impede understanding	Good Student is able to speak in mostly complete sentences, with some errors that may impede understanding	Excellent Student is able to speak in complete sentences with few errors that do not impede understanding
Fluency	Poor Student lacks fluency and uses native language	So so Student sounds somewhat fluent but there are long pauses with many filler words(uh..um..) Some native language words present	Good Student sounds mostly fluent, is not reading off a paper, no native language words are present includes some filler sounds	Excellent Student sounds natural, and fluent, includes few filler sounds
