Fair Demonstrated two of the participation expectations. Listed in the "Excellent" column.	Good Demonstrated three of the participation expectations. Listed in the "Excellent" column. Read at least one poem.	Excellent Participated in class discussions. Participated in peer editing. Completed all assignments. Participated in poetry reading. Read at least two poems.
Writing Conventions	Poor 7 or more errors in spelling and punctuation in poetry journal.	Fair 6 or fewer errors in spelling and punctuation in poetry journal.	Good 3 or fewer errors in spelling and punctuation in poetry journal.	Excellent No errors in spelling and punctuation in poetry journal.
