Bookmark Project Rubric
	Excellent 10 pts	Above Average 7 pts	Average 5 pts	Below Average 0 pts
Stitches 10 pts	Excellent Stitch length is correct and tension is perfect.	Above Average Stitch length is correct, but tension is too loose or too tight at times.	Average Stitch length is not correct or consistents, and tension is too tight or too loose.	Below Average Stitches are mix-matched. Threading is knotted in back. Sewing uneven.
Threads 10 pts	Excellent All threads were trimmed during the sewing process.	Above Average Most threads were trimmed during the sewing process.	Average Some threads trimmed during the sewing process.	Below Average Few threads trimmed during the sewing process.
Design Merits 10 pts	Excellent Student used 6 or more designs or filled their bookmark.	Above Average Student used 4-5 different design stiches.	Average Student used only 3 designs.	Below Average Student used less than 3 designs.
Time Management 10 pts	Excellent Student worked quietly and consistently. Student stayed at their sewing station and cleaned up without being told	Above Average Student worked consistently but not quietly. Student helped some with clean up.	Average Student had trouble staying on task. Had to be told to clean up.	Below Average Student left items at his/her table.
