Completion, Organization & Effort	SENSACIONAL Writer exceeds or fulfills the requirements by writing fully detailed sentences in the target language and has put care and effort into the process. Paragraphs are organized and topic is discussed thoroughly. Includes ideal topic sentence and conclusion.	BRAVO Writer included somewhat detailed sentences. Writing is generally logical. Most information on topic included. Includes topic sentence and conclusion.	BIEN Writer has included some or a few detailed sentences, leaving out key components of the writing prompt. Paragraphs are somewhat unorganized. Does not include topic sentence and/or conclusion.	NO MUY BIEN Paragraphs are very unorganized. There is little or no flow. Incomplete coverage of topic.
Comprehensibility	SENSACIONAL Reader can always understand what the writer is trying to communicate. Spanish vocabulary and idioms are used correctly. No interpretation on part of reader is necessary.	BRAVO Reader can understand most of what the writer is trying to communicate. Mostly correct use of Spanish vocabulary and idioms.
