Historical/Generic Personal Diary
Students will create the diary of a fictional teenager who traveled with a Spanish explorer, or belonged to a Native American tribe in New Mexico, or traveled from the East to New Mexico. The journal from this time period reflects accurately the experiences a person would have encountered. Use knowledge gained from the text and research materials found in the QuestGarden to create the diary entries. You have literary license to make up appropriate and historically accurate experiences.
