The group was instructed to create a volcano, displaying the correct headings as well as a booklet containing the advantages and disadvantages of volcanoes with additional information. They then had to do a presentation to the class on their project

The student didn't use his time effectively and seemed to rush the project.	Fair 9-14 Marks The structure of the project is good. A level of creativity and effort can be seen. The volcano is on the model but lacks clarity and effectiveness. Some sort of a landscape is evident. An overall good effort.	Good 14-20 Marks All instructions were followed correctly. the model contains the volcano and the volcanic intrusions. A landscape is included and the mechanics of a volcano can clearly be seen. Creativity and innovative thinking can be seen.

Presentation - Told the class how you went about doing the volcano project -told the class about at lease one thing you learnt from the project	Poor 1-4 Marks Bad presentation. No content was discussed.	Fair 5-7 Marks Answered only a couple of the questions correctly. shows limited knowledge on the topic.
