Evidence	Excellent Evidence supports the ideas, are adequately detailed, and the source is identified.	Good Some accurate evidence is presented that supports the ideas. Limited in detailed.	Fair Little evidence is provided, or does not support ideas in a meaningful way.	Poor Evidence is not provided.
Analysis/Connection	Excellent Each piece of evidence is supported by two or more sentences of explanation, analysis, or connection back to the idea.	Good Explanation or analysis is limited or weak from evidence.	Fair Explanation or analysis is attempted, but it is unclear or does not support your position in a meaningful way.	Poor Explanation or analysis is inadequate.
Grammar/Conventions	Excellent Use of grammar and conventions is flawless. No mistakes seen.	Good Some mistakes are evident in either grammar or conventions, but does not take from the overall effect of ideas presented.	Fair Mistakes in both grammar and conventions are obvious and weaken the overall paper.	Poor Mistakes in both grammar and convention usage limit understanding of ideas.
