This rubric is to be used to mark students work after completing an All about Me presentation showcasing all their computing skills.

Excellent

Use of fonts, size and colour done effectively and clearly.
Text includes various elements such as underlining, bold and italics.
Good

Most of the font used is appropriate to the content of the text. Some attempt to use bold, underline or font size change.
Fair

Only one or two lines of the text has had its font changed using only one or two elements.
Poor

Minimal amount of text is used. Use of standard font only showing no attempt to change the font.
Presentation/Slides

Excellent

Text is easy to read. Graphics and effects are used throughout to enhance the presentation (when appropriate). Appropriate amount of slides has been used (8 or more)
Good

Student has tried to make the presentation attractive. Several images have been inserted.
Some attempt to use presentation elements evident. Only 5-7 slides presented
Fair

Only 3-5 slides are used. Minimal presentation elements used.
Only one image used.
Poor

Slides are hard to read. Graphics used are minimal or not used at all. Effects used are not used appropriately. 3 or less slides used
Spelling Accuracy and Grammar

Excellent

All words spelled correctly and grammar is correct throughout the entire presentation.
Good

Less then 3 words are spelled incorrectly. Only one or two grammatical errors throughout the presentation.
Fair

Only a few words spelled correctly.
An attempt to use correct grammar at a basic/simplistic level
Poor

There are many words spelled incorrectly in the presentation. No attempt to use any grammar through the entire presentation
Class Presentation

Excellent

Project was presented well. Speaker was clear and concise. Presentation was confident and timed well. Audience was considered well. Presenter had eye contact and engaged well with the audience
Good

Project was presented well. Some sections not as confident and presentation went over time. Presenter had some eye contact but still read off the slides
Fair

Project was presented Minimal eye contact and audience engagement. Presenters voice is low and audience have difficulty hearing the presentation
Poor

Project was not presented fully. Student required teacher encouragement to present their presentation. No engagement or eye contact with the audience.
Use of Class Time

Excellent

Used time well during each lesson. Focused on getting the product done. Never distracted others.
Good

Used time well during each class lesson. Usually focused on getting the project done and never distracted others.
Fair

Used some of the class time well during each class lesson. There was some focus on getting the project done but occasionally distracted others.
Poor

Did not use class time to focus on the project OR distracted others. Reminders were given.
