There is no wasted class time and time is well spent and focused on the project.
Out of Class Time

Poor

Out of class time is not very well spent or there is not enough accomplished out of class to keep on schedule with project. Little evidence of focused task accomplishment for homework.
Fair

Out of class time is spent fairly well. Schedule is mostly kept to with outside accomplishments. Some good evidence of task accomplishment for homework.
Good

Out of class time is spent very well and schedule of project is kept to. Homework accomplishments are in evidence.
Final Product

Poor

Final product representing work on project is of sub-standard quality or lacking in professionalism. Product is disorganized and/or not comprehensive enough to represent learning objectives. Product is not of appropriate length.
Fair

Final product is of decent quality but may need a little work with regards to professionalism. Product is fairly well organized, but could use some work in this regard. Product represents learning objectives reasonably well and is of decent length.
Good

Final product is of high quality and is professional. Product is well organized and represents all learning objectives in detail. Product is of appropriate length.
Personal Meaning

Poor

Topic chosen is of marginal relevance to personal interest or may show evidence of being chosen at random. There is little evidence of passion on the part of the learner for the topic chosen.
Fair

Topic chosen is relevant to personal interest and was not chosen at random. Some evidence of passion on the part of the learner for topic chosen
Good

Topic chosen is extremely relevant to personal interest and was not chosen at random. Obvious evidence of passion on the part of the learner towards the chosen topic.
Resources

Poor

Few resources are used. Those used are referenced poorly or not at all in final product. Obvious need for more and/or more varied resources for topic chosen
Fair

Fair number of resources are used and those used are referenced. Reference format may need work. There may be a need for additional resources or types of resources given the topic chosen
Good

Resources used are of sufficient quantity and variety to address chosen question. Resources used are referenced in proper format in final product.
