Altered States of Consciousness Infographic and Presentation 
Each student will research an altered state of consciousness and make a pictorial representation of the main ideas in the form on an online infographic (Piktochart or Canva) in order to present it to the class.

Very creative. The infographic is visually stimulating and is seen as eye catching, making the viewer want to look at it.Student uses at least 5 visuals and images that connect to the data. The infographic has some hints of creativity. The viewer notices areas of outside of the box thinking.Student uses 3-4 visuals and images. The images are related to social media, but do not help explain or clarify the information. Student used Piktochart or Canva as instructed.
Approaching Expectations

Little to no thought was given to the appearance of the infographic. No "outside of the box" thinking was applied. Student uses 2 or less visuals or images that may or may not be related to the information. The visuals are distracting and random. Student perhaps did not use Piktochart or Canva as instructed.
Information representations

Exceeds Expectations

Information was meaningful and purposeful. It was easy to learn something new about the altered state of consciousness. There are no spelling or grammar errors on the text
Meets Expectations

Not enough information to support teaching the concept. The data was just there and did not contribute to learning something new about the altered state of consciousness. There are 3-4 errors in spelling and grammar.

Very little information and contains no significant connections to learn something new about the altered state of consciousness. There are more than 5 spelling and grammar errors.

Design takes the viewer through the infographic in an efficient and effective way. The flow contributes to the understanding of the information, allowing connections to be made. All information is presented clear. Title is bold and captivating.

Layout/neatness does not always flow smoothly, disrupting the processing of information. There is a general neatness, however, some areas are distracting. Title is not eye-catching.

There does not appear to be any sense of order to the infographic. The infographic lacks neatness and clarity. No title is apparent.

Student is not prepared to present and does not give a lesson over the infographic that teaches any new information, but only states a few minimal key points about the infographic.
