Creativity & Quality

1. Video project reflects that student took ownership of the project by thinking beyond the minimum requirements.

The video fully engages the viewer and captures their attention through interesting dialogue, creative questioning and an engaging presentation throughout.

The video captures the viewers attention throughout the video with the exception of a few "rough" moments here and there where the viewer easily loses focus.

The video has some interesting moments in which the viewer is engaged, but this is not maintained throughout the video.
Poor

Video is not very creative or original and does not engage the viewer.
Paper

Student submits a thesis paper which adequately describes the topic chosen for the video, the purpose of the project, and details how the requirements of the project were depicted in the video.

Excellent

All elements of the paper requirement were met and provided a very thorough description of the project and the chosen topic. The conclusion and explanation were very thorough, detailed and well defined.
Good

The paper was submitted and most elements of the project were described in detail in the paper. The student's conclusion and explanation of the topic was sufficient.
Fair

Paper was submitted but some key elements of the project were missing from the paper and/or key concepts were not addressed in detail.
Poor

Paper was either not submitted or did not meet the requirements for this portion of the project.
