Objective and Hypothesis	Poor No objective. No hypothesis.	Good Objective is unclear. At least one hypothesis, but it does not logically connect with the objective.	Excellent Objective is clearly stated. One or more research question/hypothesis. Each clearly delineates a unit of analysis and, if appropriate, dependent and independent variables.
Literature Review	Poor A review of literature is merely a reporting of previous research findings.
