Our Favorite Weather Shapes 
In science and literacy, students are learning about weather changes and forecasting. After monitoring the weather for a few weeks, student's picked their favorite weather and illustrated it using pattern blocks from math class. They were then asked to write a sentence to identify their shape model and describe their opinion. K.G.A.2 Correctly name shapes regardless of their orientations or overall size. K.G.B.5 Model shapes in the world by building shapes from components and drawing shapes.
