	Does not meet standard 1 pts	Meets the standard 2 pts	Exceeds the standard 3 pts
Story 1 pts	Does not meet standard The story is not very creative AND doesn't flow very smoothly. There is no sense of completeness with no obvious beginning, middle and ending.	Meets the standard The story is creative, but doesn't flow smoothly-- OR-- The story flows smoothly, but is not very creative. Contains obvious beginning, middle and ending.	Exceeds the standard The story is creative AND flows smoothly; it is obviously well planned with many descriptive words and sentence variety.
