Animal Book Report Rubric-3rd grade

This rubric will assist in assessing a non-fiction report on Animals. The students will read and choose a selected book on animals. They are then to complete a 6 folded display with factual information of what they learned. In addition, they will be presenting this presentation orally.

Excellent You did a good job on your display!	Good This is good but next time put more effort into making your fonts and style the same as well as following directions.	Poor Did you take your time in completing the project? Rushed through the project.
Written Responses 40 pts Grading on did you follow directions with the sentence requirements.	Superior 10 sentences with great details and editing! Wow!	Excellent You made the requirements! Way to go!	Good Good job with the facts, but next time work on the editing a bit more.	Poor It was tough getting those facts down? Try for more next time.
Computer Integration 25 pts Learning how to bullet, change font and size and insert a picture are the important skills!	Superior Student worked indepentently in the computer lab to compose the sentences. He/she learned how to effectively bullet facts, change font/size of lettering and insert pictures into word processing.
