Music Composition Music Composition Using a combination of four different sounds the students will create a musical piece. Students may choose any sounds from their environment except sounds that are amde by a traditional msuical instrument. They will create their own sound environment from the new'instruments they have discovered and chosen! Four Sound Makers Find four different things that make sounds you like (note musical instruments).	Poor Student did not comprehend instructions	Fair Student mostly did as directions indicated	Good Student did exactly what the directions indicated.
Create a Sound Symbols Create your own symbols to represent each sound	Poor Student did not do as indicated.	Fair Student did mostly what the directions indicated. Presentation was generally neat and interesting.	Good Student did exactly as indicated, and did so neatly and originally.
Creat a Sound Score On any type of paper, or visual means, create a score that arranges your sounds in the way you would like them to be arranged, and so that others could perform your creation	Poor Student did not do as directions had indicated.	Fair Student produced a score that was legible and generally neat.	Good It was clear that the student spent a good amount of time producing a score that is original, visually pleasing and very readable.
