CONTENT	Excellent Analysis is thorough and insightful. Strong textual evidence is cited to support analysis. Shows a full understanding of the topic.	Good Analysis is detailed. Textual evidence is cited to support analysis. Shows a good understanding of the topic.	Fair Analysis is attempted and includes some textual evidence. May not be cohesive. Shows a fair understanding of parts of the topic.	Poor Analysis is minimal or incomplete. Textual evidence is not used to support the analysis. Does not seem to understand the topic very well.
SPEAKS CLEARLY	Excellent Speaks clearly and distinctly all of the time.	Good Speaks clearly and distinctly most of the time.	Fair Sometimes mumbles and/or mispronounces words.	Poor Often mumbles or cannot be understood.
PREPAREDNESS	Excellent Speaker is completely prepared and has obviously rehearsed.	Good Speaker seems fairly well prepared, but might have needed a couple of more rehearsals.	Fair Speaker is somewhat prepared, but it is clear that rehearsal was lacking.	Poor Speaker does not seem prepared to present.
EYE CONTACT	Excellent Speaker makes eye contact with every person in the room on several occasions.	Good Speaker makes eye contact with some people in the room on a few occasions.	Fair Speaker makes eye contact with only one or two people on less than a few occasions.	Poor Speaker does not seem to make eye contact with anyone at all.
