	Excellent 12.5 pts	Good 10 pts	Fair 7.5 pts	Poor 5 pts
Categories Addressed 25 % Student is expected to address the major categories of endangerment. Those being habitat, food source, endangerment status, reasons for endangerment, conservation efforts and interesting/ important facts.	Excellent Student addresses and goes into depth about the 5 major categories of endangerment.	Good Student addresses all 5 major categories of endangerment.	Fair Student mentions some, but not all categories of endangerment.	Poor Student does not mention any categories of endangerment.
Organization 25 % Paper needs to be well organized.	Excellent Poster is well organized , and appealing to the audience. The presentation of information shows continuity and fluidity.	Good Poster is fairly organized. The presentation of information shows some continuity and fluidity.	Fair Poster is somewhat organized, but the presentation lacks more continuity and fluidity.	Poor Poster is not well organized. The presentation is completely lacks continuity and fluidity. Or student did not create a poster.
Writing Conventions 25 % Paper should have appropriate spelling, grammar usage and sentence structure.	Excellent Paper has virtually no major errors.	Good Paper has few errors and does not interfere with reader's understanding.	Fair Paper has some errors that make reading to become confusing at times.	Poor Paper has many errors in spelling, grammar usage, and sentence structure.
Poster/Presentation 25 % Student is expected to present findings in a visual manner to an audience.	Excellent Student has a poster, consisting of numerous facts and pictures, and engages his or her audience for duration of time.	Good Student has a poster, presents some findings, and addresses his or her audience for most of the time.	Fair Student has a poster, but it seems to lack flare and facts.	Poor Student does not have a poster nor conduct a presentation, or simply talks about his or her endangered species of choice.
