At the Newstand

It's years from now and you're looking at a magazine on the newsstand. The cover shows a successful leader in the world. The person on the cover is you. Include your name on the cover headline, examples of how you are a leader (can be big or small reasons), and be ready to explain your magazine cover.

Presentation	IP Student did not make the cover required by the assignment.	AP Student made a cover but had a poor attitude about presenting the project. The student acted in a disinterested, embarressed, or disrespectful manner.	Proficient Student was excited about project and willingly participated. The presentation proved the student's interest in the leadership examples discussed.
Effort	IP Student seemed to have put very little to no effort into project.	AP Student put minimal effort into project, just enough to get a grade.	Proficient Student put thought and effort into this project and took great pride in their work.
Creativity	IP Student only made 0-2 words and pictures to receive a minimal grade.	AP Student used 3-4 words and pictures to creatively complete project.	Proficient Student used 5 or more words and pictures that had color, and used their imagination to create their cover to the best of their ability.
Description words	IP Student used few words or did minimal work.	AP Student included words but too tightly condensed the information (so that a stranger would not understand the what the student was trying to describe).	Proficient Student displayed words in a creative and explanatory way for visual learners or those who do not know the person well.
Directions	IP Student did not follow directions given (wrong poster size, wrong theme, etc.)	AP Student followed directions minimally.	Proficient Student worked to the best of thier ability to explain their career visually by following the directions given.
