Homework	Excellent All homework is in the notebook and are complete. Student shows their work. Homework has a heading.	Good All homework is in notebook. Some headings are missing. Student shows most work.	Fair Some homework assignments are missing. There are not headings on most homework.	Poor Many homework assignments are missing. Homework does not have headings.
Vocabulary	Excellent All vocabulary words are complete.	Good One vocabulary words is incomplete.	Fair Two vocabulary words are incomplete.	Poor More than 3 vocabulary words are incomplete.
Notes	Excellent All notes are in notebook and are clearly and neatly wriitten. All notes have dates and a heading.	Good Most to all notes are in notebook. Notes may be messy. A few notes may not have dates.	Fair Some notes are in notebook. Notes may be messy or in wrong area of notebook. Very few notes have dates and headings.	Poor Notes are missing or very sloppy. No dates or headings on notes.
Required Sections	Excellent All required sections are present -- homework, notes & handouts.	Good One required section is missing.	Fair Two required sections are missing.	Poor Three required sections are missing.
Neatness	Excellent Work is very neat and all papers are organized correctly.	Good Work is easy to read. Most papers are in the correct place.	Fair Work is somewhat difficult to read. Some papers are where they should be.	Poor Work is hard to read because of messiness. Papers may be torn, soiled, or in the wrong section.
